Transparent Quartzware & Erlenmeyer Flask

Our clear fused quartz labware provides a versatile and reliable solution for various scientific, industrial, and technological applications, enabling precise measurements, high-temperature processes, chemical resistance, and optical clarity. Its unique combination of properties makes it a preferred choice in many fields where quality, accuracy, and durability are critical. Our fused quartz crucibles are ideal for high-temperature applications, while our full range of scientific quartz labware, including the quartz flask and Erlenmeyer flask, offers a comprehensive solution for various laboratory needs.

The Erlenmeyer flasks are used in laboratory settings to mix and heat solutions. There are various Erlenmeyer flask types. Each Erlenmeyer flask type is designed to aid in specific applications. Our fused quartz flasks, including the round bottom Erlenmeyer flask, are a stable container for titration, culturing, and boiling liquids without spillage. Our quartz labware is the comprehensive solution that combines durability with unmatched quality.

Erlenmeyer Flask Uses in Laboratory

The Erlenmeyer Flask is common in laboratories, and researchers primarily use it for scientific research. Microbiology labs use the Erlenmeyer flask to prepare microbial cultures. Given its cylindrical neck and tapered sides, mixing, heating, and boiling chemicals becomes easier, avoiding spillage. Conical flasks can hold gaseous substances using a cork as a seal.

Sizes and Standards of Erlenmeyer Flasks

The Erlenmeyer flask, also known as the conical flask or the titration flask, comes in several sizes, such as 25 ml, 50 ml, 100 ml, 125 ml, 150 ml, 250 ml, 300 ml, and 500 ml. The smaller sizes are most commonly used in laboratories, typically for chemistry applications. These Erlenmeyer flasks are used for heating, mixing, and storing liquids.

The conical also comes in much bigger sizes, such as 1000 ml, 2000 ml, 3000 ml, 4000 ml, 5000 ml, and 6000 ml. The bigger sizes can be used for applications like liquid handling, handling chemical reactions, and growing microbial cell cultures.

You can find premium-quality and durable conical flasks of all sizes at LabQuartz.

Maintenance of quartz flasks

Sterilize any quartz flask before use and clean it with a dry cloth. Once you have finished an experiment, wash the quartz flask with warm water and gentle soap cleanser. Rinse at least 3 times before drying. Dry the flask with a clean cloth. Store the flask in a cupboard to avoid dust collection.
